Almost on a daily basis there are a certain number of people, about 20%, that are always engaging in sport activities. For some of the children who get to engage in this sporting activities their main inspiration and motivation is the movie that they watch. This is due to the fact that the children are always intrigued by the sports that the movie casts participate in, sports ranging from football and even golf. In this discussion we will look at the sports movies that has been popular among people throughout time from a blog that was previously written.
Bend It Like Beckham is a great sports movie that that was produced and released in 2002. The main star in the movie is a young lady (British-Indian), who wanted nothing more than to play football as a professional, but the parents would not let her. The British-Indian lady was called Jess Bjamra and always looked up to David Beckham, she was able to get her dreams come true despite what the parents had intended for her.
This blog was also able to mention Miracle as one of the best sports movie that most certainly had a great cast and one that was majorly about hockey. It was a movie that showed in depth what the work of unity and teamwork can be able to greatly deliver great dynamics during a game and be able to reward them with victory.
This blog also shows another movie that was definitely entertaining in the 1970s called The Bad News Bears. It was based on a team of athletically challenged individuals who went ahead to move beyond their limits so that they would work as a unit.
There was also great sports movie that got to win an Oscar just as a result of how awesome and well it was doing compared to other movies this movie is called Rocky. Rocky was a great motivational movie that was able to show that anyone can make it if only they set their mind to do it. The boxer, Stallone underwent many challenges but was able to overcome them all.
Hoop Dreams was also a nice sports movie that was based on the basketball sport taht was identified by this blog. The Hoop Dreams is a story that was based on two young African American boys that moved to go to attend a basketball event and also hoped to be able to play in it someday. It is a movie that covers issues to do with poverty, determination and racism.
The Caddyshack was also a hilarious sports movie about golf that was quite interesting to watch. There was also a football movie that was identified in this blog called the Friday Night Lights.
On the bowling sport, a great movie to capture the greatest of the game was The big Lebowski. The blog also identified a nice sport movie that was known as the Wrestler.
